Giving Thanks

In honor of this holiday week, I thought it would be nice to take a moment to reflect on things/people that I am so grateful to have in my life. Of course, I am thankful for the usual things- a roof over my head, food to put on the table, etc.- but there are a few things that I am particularly thankful for this year.

{My precious little dog, and his goofy little personality}

{My lovely fiance who not only puts up with my high-maintenance, Elle Woods-complex, but apparently finds it endearing! But really, he is amazing, and I am so lucky to have him in my life.}
{Great friends…and bridesmaids!}
*3/4 of these pictures are significantly old.
{Martha Stewart (seen here with Oscar de la Renta) for inspiring me to bake. No, I’m not kidding. In my opinion, baking has become my method of coping with the stresses of life as a law student…and it is far cheaper than actual therapy.}

{Baking. See above for explanation.}
*These are the turkey cupcakes I made for Thanksgiving last year.
Happy Thanksgiving Week!

    Aww, thank you, Tina! I am thankful for you and your blog! And those turkeys might be cute, but they were an insane amount of work.I’m thinking I’ll do something much simpler this year, considering I have about 24 hours and NO idea what to make!

    Thank you, Emmy! I’m very excited for the wedding, but I have so much to do before July! What’s your favorite thing to bake?
