This week, my final exams being, so I’ve been in a bit of an irritable, gloomy funk. I’ve decided that dressing up a bit more than usual would be a simple way to make my days a bit more fun, even though I’m just laying around the apartment studying all day (and night). I love this chambray shirt, because it can be worn so many ways- both casual and dressy. I’ve got a dressier outfit planned for it, but I’m just waiting for the right time to wear it. I’m thinking New Years, or maybe to an end-of-semester celebratory dinner with Cory. Anyway, the low side ponytail has become my go-to hairstyle for rainy days. My hair is extremely uncooperative, especially when it’s rainy out…and it seems like it is always raining around here lately. Since when did Cleveland turn into Seattle?

P.S. Because of final exams, my updates may be sparse over the next 3 weeks. I’m hoping to make up for it over Christmas break when I vow to do nothing except fun things like blogging and baking and moving into a new house. I can’t wait!

I love your ruffled chambray shirt. It looks great belted! Your hair looks beautiful in a low side ponytail. It would look really pretty for your wedding or rehearsal dinner like that.

Best of luck on your finals!

I think your hair looks great!! You’re making me want to curl my hair and put it in a side pony. And I LOVE the belt! It’s the perfect touch to a cute outfit.

Good luck on finals! They’ll be over soon…and then you’re done!
