{Sweater: H&M (old), Nails: Essie in Scarlett O’Hara}
On Sunday, we hosted a belated Thanksgiving dinner over at our house. It was my first attempt at cooking a real turkey, and I was quite nervous about it. I sort of have a phobia of raw meat, so I’m so thankful that my sweet husband offered to do the gross parts- like taking the neck out of the inside of the bird. Ew. All in all, it turned out to be a great meal, and a wonderful afternoon with loved ones. Now we’ll be eating turkey for every meal for the next 8 weeks because I miscalculated and thought that a 19lb turkey was the right size for serving 7 people.

{My attempt at food art: a turkey-ish shaped fruit/cheese platter with New York aged cheddar and Dubliner cheeses- two of my favorites}

{For dessert: Pumpkin pie with streudel topping and these guys}
Thanks for reading!
Also, please don’t forget to enter my Allison Chomer giveaway! It ends on Sunday at midnight, so time is running out. There are so many fabulous ways to wear the silk Watercolor tank: with dark skinny jeans, white jeans, burgundy, a tuxedo jacket, cutoff denim during summer, etc. The list goes on and on! Don’t miss out on winning your own piece of Allison’s collection (a $155 value!).
Have a great weekend!
