{Gold-speckle sweater: The Wooden Nickel, Coat: Nine West (old, similar, similar), Bag: Foley + Corinna, Shoes/Pants: Kohl’s}
I wore this the other day when I met my good friend, Stephanie, for lunch. It was supposed to be a fun, carefree day of food, shopping, and commiserating about law school.  We decided on a new (to us) Mexican restaurant we had heard about through the grapevine. Little did we know, the restaurant was super sketchy, and it shared a parking lot with a fit-for-a-horror-movie, hole-in-the-wall motel that I’m pretty sure doubles as a halfway house for recently released prison inmates. Luckily, we managed to snap off a few outfit photos before making a mad dash to the car/safety and high-tailing it to TJ Maxx for some retail therapy.

And a bonus photo of my “Okay, let’s go before we get mugged/abducted” face:

    Haha it wasn’t Pedro’s! It was wayyy worse than that. We actually love sketchy Pedro’s, and I assume that’s the one you’re thinking of…but we will definitely try El Jalapeños. This transplanted Oklahoman can’t get enough Tex-Mex/Mexican food! Thanks for the recommendation!
