Skin Care Routine

We may earn money or products from the companies mentioned in this post.

This is my current skin care routine. The Yes To products are both new to my regimen. To me, cleanser is cleanser. I just don’t get excited about it. I’ve never really found one that I love, so I usually just buy whatever is on sale or looks fun. So far I like this one, but it’s just cleanser. As for the calming night cream, I really love the fresh, cool scent, but my skin is so dry right now I think I need something a bit more intense. I can’t wait to use the cucumber-scented lotion in summer though- such a cooling treat.

I also just used up a sample of Juice Beauty’s Blemish Clearing Serum that I’ve had in my makeup bag forever. I really loved it. I only wish that I had a little bit more, because the thing about breakout-clearing products is that they usually take several applications to work. With the Juice Beauty Blemish Clearing Serum, my skin immediately felt super tingly and clean, so I can only imagine what it would do to my skin if I used it for an extended period of time. Even better, Juice Beauty’s products are all organic, which is something I am starting to pay more attention to lately. I also just discovered they make hair products and makeup- also all organic. I really want to try out their Brightening hair products and the Green Apple Peel next.

I use Juice Beauty’s loose powder and love it. A great moisturizer for dry winter skin is Aveda’s Tourmaline moisturizer. Expensive but made my skin gorgeous!

I’m using some of the same products. the tomatoes cleanser (because it was on sale for $4 at Walgreens), the clarisonic (although I really should get a new head…whoops) and I’ve used the mask. I just recently starting dabbing on a bit of coconut oil at night and my face is so moisturized and not dry anymore. It’s seriously awesome. I also made a little scrub with it (just mixed it with sugar) so I use that, then the tomatoes cleanser, then my regular moisturizer, and then just a tiny bit of the c.oil on my cheeks and around my nose where it gets really dry. worth trying out, especially since it’s organic!

I use a lot of Olay products and really love them. I’ve never heard of this drying lotion. You like it?
