Toned Down Metallics

Sweater and Jeans: The Limited  (similar jeans -on sale!)/ Heels: BCBGeneration via TJ Maxx / Necklace: Forever 21 (similar) / Lips: Revlon in Peach Parfait (obsessed!)
The last time I wore these jeans, I felt totally flashy and a little uncomfortable. I mean, they are metallic pants. Today, I was so surprised how different the jeans felt when paired with a simple sweater in a somewhat similar color family…all of a sudden rockstar pants become much  more demure and sophisticated.
P.S. If you have fair skin and blue-ish eyes, and even if you don’t, you need to get yourself a tube of Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter in Peach Parfait STAT. I have always steered clear of peachy or coral colored lip products because they never did any favors for my complexion…but this one is ah-mazing. Soft, sheer color (but buildable if you want more pigmentation), very moisturizing, so perfect for spring, and it is one of the only beauty products I’ve tried that compliments rather than emphasizes my red skintone. Obsessed.
P.P.S. It’s APRIL! April is my last full month of school!! I’m so excited, there really aren’t words. I still have finals in May, then studying for the bar exam until July, then taking the bar exam (and hopefully passing it)….but making it through law school will be a huge success for me. It’s been rough, stressful, emotional, even downright depressing at times, but I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel, and that makes me so happy I could almost cry. Happy tears, of course.
