Simple Things

{Raindrops, instead of snow (finally), on the windshield}
This week, I lost someone very close to me. Even though we had notice that it was coming, that knowledge really didn’t make things any easier, at least not for me. It’s unfortunate that, for many of us (myself included), it often takes some kind of tragic event for us to remember how short life is, how much we take for granted each day. This weekend, I plan to take the time to enjoy the simple, wonderful things that life has to offer- quality time with family/friends/pets, sunshine, and all the good memories we made together.
Have a good weekend.
{No matter how rough my day has been, I can’t help but smile when I look at that face}
{New gold-speckled mirror for our dining room, via Home Goods, and fresh flowers in the kitchen}
{Our sleek new buffet table from TJ Maxx}

{diy decorative touch for my nightstand. Thinking about selling these on Etsy someday.}

    Sorry to hear about to your loss. It’s never easy, no matter how “prepared” you think you are.

    Sorry to hear about your loss Katy. I hope the nice weather we are (finally) having will help lift your spirits.

    Love your recent purchases! Which Home Goods/TJ’s do you frequent – I may have to go take a peek?!

      Thank you so much, Jane. These particular purchases were from the Fairlawn stores, but my absolute favorite TJ Maxx is the one in North Olmsted. It’s a combined TJ Maxx/Home Goods and they always have really great designer finds like Kate Spade and Rebecca Minkoff.
