To be honest, I’ve always kind of steered away from graphic tees and sweaters. I envied the way other bloggers could pull them off and look so effortlessly cool, but they just never seemed to work for me. However, when I saw this Eiffel Tower sweater online at The Limited, my love for all things French and France-related triumphed over my reservation about graphic tops. Since it arrived, I’ve been pleasantly surprised how versatile it is. I’ve been wearing it non-stop, and I’m contemplating ordering this one, too. I don’t know what I was thinking before!
This first post is my quick and casual take on wearing a graphic sweater. Jeans and a sweater can seem so blah, but I’m starting to learn that, despite my blogger inclination to add another layer or another statement piece of jewelry, sometimes simple is okay. When you’re in a huge hurry because you hit the snooze button 14 times, you can’t beat the combination of a simple graphic sweater, jeans, ballet flats, and a 5-minute low bun…and a bright bag never hurts either.
