Graphic Sweater, Part 3: Leather Skater Skirt

We may earn money or products from the companies mentioned in this post.

Sweater: The Limited / Blouse: The Limited (last year) / Skirt: Lily White via Nordstrom / Bow Flats: Nine West (also here) / Bag: Foley + Corinna (updated version) / Lips: YSL Sheer Candy #4
This is my last installment for the “Graphic Sweater” series I’ve been doing around this Eiffel Tower sweater. (See Part 1 and Part 2) For this look, I wanted it to be really girly and pretty, but not too girly. The pink blouse, braids, and bow flats made for a very feminine look, but I balanced it out with a faux leather skirt and my favorite black satchel.
I made the mistake of trying to take these pictures with my tripod/remote in the middle of the day…it was so bright outside, so I ended up retreating indoors to try and get a decent picture of my braid. I’m by no means a braiding expert, but I love to play around with braided hairstyles. They are so quick and easy, perfect for those mornings when you are running late or your hair simply won’t cooperate.

Thank you, Alanna! I think the earrings were Forever21, but I’ve had them for years.

OMG your braid!! I don’t know what you’re talking about, you’re an expert in my book! I’m so bad at braiding my own hair. This was such a fun series. This is actually the exact rule I follow when I’m shopping, if I can’t think of three ways to wear a piece, it’s going back. Number 2 is my favorite!

Thank you, Dina! My post-bar exam unemployment has left me with lots of time for braid practicing haha
