Lately I’ve been finding myself drawn to edgier looks- lots of black, leather, chain details, studded pieces, etc. My personality is about as far from edgy as you can get, but I couldn’t help but try to recreate a modified version of some of my latest “edgy chic” Pinterest inspiration.
Looking back, I think next time I would pair this outfit with a heeled boot or sandal. As much as a love my Hunter boots, they are not exactly dressy, and I think this outfit could have benefited from the added height and sophistication of a heel. Unfortunately, the 18+ inches of snow we got during that crazy storm had all melted the day we photographed these, so waterproof shoes were really the only option.
So far, I’m absolutely in love with these Hunter boots. They are easily the most comfortable pair of shoes I own, even after walking in them all day (another reason why I wore them with this outfit- they are so comfy I find myself not wanting to wear any other shoes!). I opted for the adjustable back version instead of the original version so I can wear them with really thick, warm socks in the winter. I highly recommend them!
