This poppy colored sweater has been a staple in my wardrobe since I bought it on New Years Day, but, every time I tried to photograph it for the blog, my plans fell through usually due to weather. Yesterday morning, I was out and about and it was terribly cold, but the sun was shining and there were clear skies. I thought I finally had my chance, so I came home, ate lunch, then got my camera set up and touched up my makeup to take outfit photos. Forty-five minutes later when I opened the door to go take photos outside, we had at least an inch of snow on the ground and it was snowing like crazy. I couldn’t believe it. But not even heavy snow was going to foil my plans this time. This sweater is fabulous- bright and warm with an intricate knit pattern- It needs to be shared! Even better, it’s on sale for less than $30 right now. I know thick-knit sweaters tend to not be the most flattering things, but sometimes they are necessary. This sweater is easily the warmest one in my closet, and I plan to continue to live in it (flattering or not) until we get some real spring weather around here.

What a beautiful look. I’m digging the red with the stripes. And the snow just makes these photos look magical!
