I was so SO excited when I received this dress from eShakti. The material is really crisp and breezy- it’s unlike any other maxi dress I have. The colorful embroidery is so bright and pretty, and I love the modified racer-front neckline. The best part is that the dress is custom-made based on my personal measurements to ensure a perfect fit (and pockets. It has pockets!) The dress fits me really well, but the style of the skirt is a little full for my taste. It’s fine for now, but I’m thinking about having the skirt slimmed a bit. I think it might make the skirt a bit more flattering for my figure and help me feel a little less overwhelmed by fabric.
I actually wore this dress on Easter Sunday, and funny story…when it came time to put the kneelers down during Mass, the people next to me unknowingly put the kneeler down on my dress. I couldn’t sit up straight or stand up until everybody else got up and Cory was able to move the kneeler and free me. I was so afraid the dress was going to rip and I was going to end up with an Angelina Jolie-style leg slit during Easter Mass. Wouldn’t that have been something!
