My go-to travel uniform during warm-ish weather is always the same: comfy dress, denim jacket or a cardigan, and a scarf that can be used as a blanket if necessary. We flew to Boston this past weekend to visit my brother and sister-in-law and attend their baby shower, so I opted to wear a plain black jersey dress, a denim jacket, and my new neon scarf to add a splash of color while we were on the plane. We went straight from the airport to a walking food tour of Boston (more on that later!), so I switched out my Firmoo glasses for my Ray-Bans for our afternoon in downtown Boston. I was lame and didn’t take any outfit photos while were in Boston (I’m still mad at myself for that one…talk about a beautiful background!), so I recreated my outfit once I got home- turns out it’s a great outfit for grocery store/Target runs too!
I have to admit I was a little surprised by the quality of the Firmoo glasses when they arrived. They were surprisingly heavy and felt really well-made. The glasses (and sunglasses) start around $16. There is a program where you can get your first pair free on select styles. Mine feel very sturdy, and I love that they came with both a hard case and a soft case. My favorite part of the process was that there’s a virtual try-on feature on the Firmoo website. I uploaded a selfie and used it to try on all different shapes and styles of frames before I made my decision. So fun!
