This week, October 17-23, in partnership with Popsugar Inc. and the CFDA Foundation, I am donating 10% of the net sales (excluding taxes and shipping) from my ShopStyle affiliate links to the CFDA Foundation in support of the CFDA Foundation’s Fashion Targets Breast Cancer Initiative.*

This cause is so close to my heart, as breast cancer has had a direct impact on my family. When I was four, my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. By the time she was diagnosed, the cancer was already in the late stages, and I don’t think there was much the doctors could do with the medicine/technology at that time. Since I was so young at the time, I don’t know much about the details, but I do remember going with my mom to her chemo treatments. She passed away three weeks before I started kindergarten.

Thanks to research/technology/fundraising/medical advances, the medicine and treatment for breast cancer has come so far since then. This week, October 17-23, if you’re planning to shop online, I encourage to shop through the ShopStyle links of any of the bloggers who are participating in this campaign.  Together, we can finish the fight against cancer once and for all.

*Sales originating in Arkansas, Alabama, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Vermont, Wyoming and outside of the U.S. do not qualify towards the 10% of net sales towards donations.

The value of the donation corresponding to any purchase is not tax deductible to the consumer.

PopSugar Inc. will be making a separate $5,000 donation. Additionally, PopSugar will match all participating ShopStyle Collective bloggers’ donations $1 for $1, in excess of $5,000, up to a maximum of $5,000 for a total PopSugar Inc. maximum donation of $10,000.
