10 Cute Espadrilles You Need For Spring

We may earn money or products from the companies mentioned in this post.

(L-R from top): Chloe Scalloped Suede / Seven Dials Striped / Circus by Sam Edelman Snake Print / Soludos Leather Smoking Slipper (I’ve been wearing these nonstop!) / Crown Vintage Pink Suede With Scalloped Edge / Splendid Braided Suede / Frye Perforated With Pointed Toe / Valentino Rockstuds / Aldo Woven Espadrilles / Jimmy Choo Metalllic Flat

Espadrilles are my favorite shoes for transitioning into warm weather. They look and feel spring/summery, but they still offer the coverage you need before it’s full-fledged sandal season. They are also the perfect shoe to wear before you get your feet in shape for sandals! 😉  (Side note: I did one of those foot peel things 2 weeks ago, and my feet WILL. NOT. STOP. PEELING. I’m never going to be able to wear sandals… #espadrilles4lyfe).

I also love espadrilles because they are usually so comfortable! It’s like the comfort of a sneaker with a much cuter look. I tend to stick with plain, neutral colors to keep them from looking too casual, but there are some really fun ones out there that would be perfect to wear to the beach or something.

After much debate- and a poll of the audience on my IG stories– I ended up buying this pair during a Shopbop sale, and I’m so glad I did. After reading reviews, I bought a full size larger than my regular size, and they fit perfectly. They were so comfortable right out of the box. I have been wearing them nonstop…and I think I might want them in black, too!

I’m digging the pinky/brown scalloped pair! Did you use Baby Foot for your peel? I’m fascinated/horrified from what I’ve read about the process. Good project for next winter!!

I didn’t use the Baby Foot one this time, but I’ve used it before. It is a weird process, but it really works well. I had to sleep with socks on so I didn’t get dead skin in the bed…so gross!

Hi Debra! I think the amount of support an an espadrille will vary from shoe to shoe. They are flats, but I have found them to be comfortable enough that I don’t feel the need to use arch inserts. The leather Soludos pictured above have been especially kind to my feet. I’m not sure if any of these brands send profits to charity, but I’m happy to look into it and write a post in the future about companies that share the profits with charity.
